ISD is one of the biggest sports academies in Dubai, offering top-tier training programs to kids of all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is looking to play for fun or develop skills to compete in tournaments, we have the training program for you.

Location & Facility

Location of ISD Table Tennis Academy 

ISD is located in the heart of Dubai Sports City, where we have a dedicated facility for table tennis. This is the first season of our Table Tennis Academy for kids and we’re proud to open our doors for you. 

Facilities Available at ISD Table Tennis 

Our facility is completely indoors and climate-controlled for year-round play. Furthermore, ISD did not compromise on quality when it came to Table Tennis. Just like the facilities for all other sports, ISD ensured that all our tables come from Butterfly, in order to provide all our patrons with the experience of playing with professional grade equipment. 

The facility features a pavilion for parents to watch their kids as they get trained. Additionally, we have an in-house café—a beautiful spot for kids and parents to sit, eat, and enjoy either before or after their sessions. At ISD, our luxury amenities and friendly customer service staff ensure that our patrons have a premium, hassle-free experience. 

Dubai Sports City also offers free parking space for more than 3,000 cars in and around the facility, thereby removing one of the biggest pain points for parents across the city. 

The facility is centrally located, making it easily accessible for everyone. We offer regular classes from 4 PM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday. These after-school timings make it super convenient for any parent to hop along with their kids and watch them learn Table Tennis.

Coaches 

Here are two of our coaches who have made their mark in the world of table tennis through their incredible gameplay. Both are not only experienced but also have numerous accolades to their names, including European Championships.

Yulia Prokhorova

Yulia Prokhorova, one of our talented coaches from Russia, brings a wealth of experience to ISD Table Tennis. With outstanding performances on both national and international stages, Yulia has proven herself as a remarkable athlete. She has earned two European Championship medals and claimed three singles titles at the Russian National Championships. Her achievements are a testament to her hard work and dedication to the sport. As a coach, Yulia is passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring our players to reach their full potential, making her an invaluable asset to our team and a true role model for aspiring athletes.

Alexey Liventsov

Alexey Liventsov, an active Russian table tennis player and dedicated coach, brings a wealth of experience to our academy. With three bronze medals from the European Championships and a Russian Singles Championship win in 2017, Alexey has a proven track record of excellence in the sport. His transition from playing to coaching allows him to share his expertise and passion for table tennis with our players. Alexey is committed to helping each aspiring athlete improve their skills and achieve their personal best, making him a valuable mentor and an inspiring figure for all who train under his guidance.

Our Successful History with Racket Sports 

ISD Dubai Table Tennis Academy adds another dimension to our already impressive roster of sports offerings. While this is our inaugural step into table tennis, we bring with us a proven track record of success in other racket sports, such as padel and tennis. Over the past five years, our state-of-the-art facilities, featuring top-quality Tennis and Padel courts, have been the training ground for countless young athletes who have honed their skills and achieved significant progress under the guidance of our expert coaches.

The launch of the ISD Table Tennis Academy is a natural extension of our commitment to excellence in racket sports. With the same dedication and professional coaching that have made our Tennis and Padel programs so successful, we are now turning our focus to Table Tennis. Our academy is designed to offer comprehensive training programs tailored to players of all ages and skill levels, ensuring that every participant receives the full attention and expert instruction needed to develop their game. We are thrilled to welcome aspiring table tennis players to our academy and look forward to nurturing a new generation of talent in this exciting sport.

Regular tournaments

At ISD, we host regular internal tournaments to let students gain experience competing with other players of the same level or higher. We have three terms throughout the year and host tournaments at the end of each term. 

Students get plenty of opportunities to practice their learnings in a real competitive environment. Kids who are aiming for scholarships can further prepare themselves mentally and physically by utilizing our dedicated fitness zone.
