From March 26th to 28th, ISD Dubai Sports City came alive as it hosted the EA SPORTS FC FUTURES x LaLiga Next Gen Draft, an unforgettable football event that brought together young talents from across Dubai. This unique blend of tournament, training, and match experiences was designed to inspire and elevate the young football players of the region.

A Thrilling Tournament Experience

Sixteen teams battled it out in fast-paced 5v5 matches, with separate competitions for boys (U15 & U14) and girls (U15, U14, U13, & U12). Each squad, made up of 7 players (4 outfield, 1 goalkeeper, and 2 substitutes), brought fierce energy, skill, and teamwork to the pitch, making every game a thrilling spectacle.

Elite Training with LaLiga Spain Coaches

The excitement didn’t end with the final whistle. The winning team’s 7 players, along with 20 standout players handpicked by LaLiga Spain scouts, participated in an exclusive training session based on the FC Futures methodology. Led by coaches from LaLiga Spain, this session offered participants a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and gain insights from some of the best in the game.

A Pathway to Spain

The pinnacle of the event was the chance for four boys and four girls to win an all-expenses-paid opportunity to travel to Spain and train under the guidance of LaLiga’s top coaches.
